Player-vs-Player game play in World of Warcraft is as brutal as it is fun. Entering any contested zone in a PVP server automatically flags you for PVP combat, allowing enemy players to hunt you down and attack you. Some unscrupulous players bring their high level characters into low-level contested zones for no other reason than to grief lowbie characters. This unfortunate situation can make leveling up in PVP servers extremely frustrating, forcing players to group up with other players of their level for added protection.
